Buffon's Macaw . *Emerald Forest*

2 yr old Buffon's Macaw, Emerald Forest,
was parent hatched on 5/04/05 & parent fed the first 6 weeks.
He is fairly large, about the same size as a Greenwing Macaw.

Here is 10-1/2 week old baby Buffon's Macaw, Emerald Forest, who
was parent hatched on 5/04/05, parent raised the first 6 weeks, and
already tame when removed from the nest box on 6/14/05.

Buffon's Macaws develope slower than most large macaws
and take 4 months or more to wean.
