8/08/07 - This is sweet, affectionate, 4 month old red dominant Camelot Macaw, Tyko. He is slightly darker red than a Scarlet Macaw, and is actually colored very similar to a hybrid Ruby (Scarlet x Greenwing) Macaw, but, otherwise he looks more like a Scarlet. He is VERY pretty, loves to snuggle and be held, and already has a keen protective attitude towards the object(s) of his affection. More than once he has chased off 2 of the older, larger Capri Macaws, both from the food dish when he's eating, and away from me. Tyko loves to fly, and when he is out, does not go back into his cage readily, except for food. He loves to eat. Tyko hatched on Easter Sunday, 4/08/07
