Spirit is a Shamrock Macaw hen. Her mother is a Scarlet & her father is a Military Macaw. Spirit's most unusual physical feature is a single yellow & coral colored secondary tail feather with a white quill and uneven barbs along the edge that is visible in the photograph below. Shamrock Macaw, Spirit, is presently about 9 years old.
